2017 is going to be the year I follow my dreams. For so many years I use to say " I wanna go there" I wanna do that" no more I wanna but I will and I have, this is the year my dreams become realities. For this photo shoot, Taylor and I went on a mini road trip to Niagara, on our way there we missed our exit and ended up at the U.S border without passports we had to explain to the border patrol what had happened. once we had arrived at our location we had to fight the cold and shoot pretty fast so I climbed a tree, Taylor danced to country music, we captured butterflies and witnessed the beauty of Niagara Falls all in all such a wonderful adventure.

Maribel + Gordon
On October 22nd Maribel and Gordon expressed their love towards each other by getting Married. Marriage is a big stage in someone's life when you finally decide you've found the one the emotions and feelings you get are indescribable. I am so thankful for them having me photograph their special day. There's a feeling I get knowing that what I do will stay in these people's lives forever. My job is so much more than just taking a couple pictures but taking memories, taking a moment in these people's LOVE STORY and cherishing it forever. without what I do these memories would just fade away and be something they can only remember by distant thoughts.
Marcus + Alesha
"Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage" - Lao Tzu
My creative heart was fulfilled today as I got to submerge myself in the love that is Marcus + Alesha. Being outside and experiencing the connection of two souls is so magical. From the rustic cabin house, Penelope the dog, the beach, listening to hardcore rock on the way to the venue, Lake Ontario and the sparkler exit Marcus + Alesha made this wedding day one I will never forget
A little bit of love in every box : Katie + Eric
As far as I can remember, I’ve always had a love for final product and printed images, everything that is used to make the final product special and unique to the client. For Katie & Eric I decided to bring a bit of nature and my rustic style into the final product. The box was hand painted and the prints were hand torn. In an society where everything is digitalized and seen on screens, I believe that when it comes to working with clients, I want to be able to give them something more special that moves away from this digitalized society, something they can hold and cherish for years to come.
Rustic Wedding Ideas
"Marriage makes you vulnerable and strong. It brings out the best and worst in you and then it changes you in ways you could have never expected. For the better." - Maggie Reyes
As your wedding day is fast approaching, it may be getting stressful deciding what to do for the big day. So I have decided to put together a blog dedicated to the weddings I would personally love going too, photographing and one day having one of my own. This series of images will showcase rustic wedding ideas for the free spirited, adventurous and outdoor-loving couples.

Vikki X Belfountain
Life is a great gift. Sometimes heading outside of your comfort zone, taking an adventure and exploring a place in the beauty of nature, where peacefulness and tranquility is key, can make for a great day. Being out in nature as much as possible is what I strive for; it is where I tend to find myself. I will bring my portable speakers, my hiking shoes and my camera which is all I ever need for a great adventure. Getting lost in your own thoughts and listening to the sound of nature couldn't be anymore peaceful for the soul.
For this adventure session, Vikki and I went out to explore the beauty that is Belfountain Conservation Park.
"We stood steady, as the stars in the woods, so happy hearted" - Ben Howard
Dancing freely to the sound of nature with the music coming from my speakers, Vikki danced her way though the paths of Belfountain.
The suspension bridge at Belfountain was nothing like I've ever seen before. Being able to hear the water from the dam under the bridge, the rain pouring over us, and the sounds of nature made this such a beautiful experience.
As our adventure came to an end, Vikki and I were sitting in the car about to leave, when we noticed it starting pouring rain. Vikki put on my jacket and we ran out into the rain, only to capture what is now one of my favourite images.
All the houses in the area were small, old fashioned houses; from the decor inside to outside, it was lovely to see such a huge difference, compared to what I'm used to in the city.
